I like using non-traditional lighting setups to shoot portraits to create interest with the viewer.
We see so many portraits and really it’s all been done before and that is why I choose to shoot you differently.
I would often use a more ‘gritty’ type lighting which is traditionally taboo with portraits, especially of woman, but hey…
rules are meant to be broken right?
